On New Year’s Eve, we all want to do something meaningful in order to move forward with optimism and confidence for the new year. This inspired us to try our own New Year’s celebration by spending time with you! We would love for you to come to the Metta Meditation Center for a New Year’s gathering where we will be having guided meditation followed by mindful discussions.
We will be beginning the new year on December 31 by having guided meditation followed by mindfulness practice with a mindful discussion. This gathering will be very similar to our normal meditation classes only we will be specifically addressing themes and topic points directly related to the concept of the New Year. What also makes this gathering unique is that we will be giving the opportunity for you to spend the night at either the retreat center or the monk’s residence.
On the morning of January 1st, we will be beginning the new year with a vegan breakfast followed by Buddhist chanting. After the chanting we will be discussing New Year’s resolutions, learning from the past and creating a strong foundation within ourselves to help us move forward for this year.
We would like to give you the opportunity to choose if you would like to stay for one day or spend the night. We would love for you to stay with us for the entire get together if you can only make it for one day we would still love for you to enjoy with New Year with us. If you would like to spend the night just check the box on the registration form.
Happy New Year!
